Office Suite Pricing

Even though there is a high unemployment rate, the Rochester New York area has a great deal of commercial and residential real estate opportunities to take advantage of. The area has seen major growth in a variety of sectors, and offers office suites to lease in many of the high rises that are in the area. There are options that are not only in the skyline, but also in the surrounding areas, giving entrepreneurs reign over the development and growth of their business. The office vacancy rate of the area is at 18% and is seen to be slowly sliding downward. A recent search of available spaces in the greater Rochester area showcased many results that are on average with the national picture, with many spaces starting at around $3 a square foot for a small office and 1, 000 square feet and beyond for around $2 a square foot. For those looking for executive suites, the area has options starting at around $500 for small executive suites with phone answering services, high speed Internet, and private entry points. Office furniture outlets are also helping shape the offices in the area, offering many low cost options to furnish office suites and executive professional suites properly. The prices are relatively low at this point, and are looking to rise when the economical picture shifts for the better.

Despite a great deal of vocational options to choose from the local area has an unemployment rate of 9%, which is higher than the national average. While analysts have been optimistic about the future of the area, there are still pockets of jobless rates that have been hit by the national decline of 2009.

Sports/Culture:

The sports in the area have a great championship tradition. There are many minor league teams in the general market, but it is home territory for the Buffalo Bills and the Buffalo Sabres, both of which are tied to a billionaire in the area named Tom Golsano. Some of the bigger franchises that are in the area play soccer, lacrosse, indoor football, basketball, and soccer.
